The 24th Conference of Rectors, Vice-Chancellors and Presidents of African Universities (COREVIP 2027) is Africa’s premier gathering of higher education leaders, policymakers, ministers of education, industry innovators, global development partners, and student representatives. Co-hosted by the Association of African Universities (AAU) and KCA University, this milestone edition marks the AAU’s 60th Anniversary Diamond Jubilee. Taking place from July 20th to 23rd, 2027, at the Safari Park Hotel in Nairobi, Kenya, the conference brings together over 1,000 delegates to drive continental transformation, innovation, strategic investment, and high-impact partnerships. Key highlights of the four-day event include a Presidential Higher Education Summit, Vice-Chancellors' strategic leadership dialogues, an Innovation Exhibition, and a Diamond Jubilee Gala featuring hall of fame inductions, awards, and the official declaration.

Day 1: Opening Ceremony, Presidential Summit & Diamond Jubilee Gala
- Begin with registration and networking at 8:00 AM, followed by welcome addresses from KCA University, the AAU President, and official opening by the Kenyan Head of State. Afternoon features the Presidential Higher Education Summit, VC Leadership Dialogue, launch of the Diamond Jubilee Declaration, and the evening Gala Dinner.

Day 2: Plenary Sessions, Thematic Workshops & Innovation Exhibition
- Engage in keynote presentations and parallel technical sessions focusing on future-ready African universities, research innovations, and sustainable higher education models. Explore the ongoing Innovation Exhibition and participate in the Partnership Marketplace.

Day 3 (July 22, 2027): Higher Education Investment Fora & Strategic Roundtables
- Participate in high-level investment fora connecting university executives with finance ministers, development banks, and corporate partners. Attend thematic sessions on ethical leadership, excellence, and global African higher education partnerships.

How do I get a visa or eTA to travel to Kenya for the conference?
- All foreign visitors travelling to Kenya must obtain an Electronic Travel Authorization (eTA) prior to departure via the official Kenyan government eTA portal. Once registered, the conference secretariat will issue an official invitation letter to support your eTA application.
Are accommodation and airport transfers included in the delegate registration fee?
- No, registration covers access to all official sessions, conference materials, exhibition areas, daily lunch, coffee breaks, and the Gala Dinner.
